Recruitment and Onboarding Manager
Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a
Recruitment and Onboarding Manager to join our team.

The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager leads recruiting efforts, identifies and recommends process improvements, drives sourcing and assessment strategy and leads new employee onboarding.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Talent Acquisition:


  • Manages the day to day recruitment activities to ensure staffing levels are met.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determines selection criteria.
  • Creates and manages requisitions.
  • Researches appropriate market rates.
  • Utilizes a variety of sourcing strategies to maintain and nurture pipeline for key positions.
  • Communicates regularly with hiring managers regarding active searches and the local talent market.
  • Support the workforce planning process and plans special recruiting events and job fairs.
  • Plans interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and inperson interviews.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives and serve as a "Brand Ambassador" to expand our internal & external footprint.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs and recruitment costs by department.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent.
  • Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices.
  • Maintain a strong network, understand the competitive landscape and adapt approaches to differentiate the organization in the marketplace.
  • Report on recruitment performance by keeping track of recruiting metrics.
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Stay uptodate on labor legislation and inform team about changes in regulations.
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.

Onboarding:


  • Assist in contacting new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Create and communicate schedules for new hire meetings.
  • Meet with and guide new employees through the onboarding process.
  • Enter and audit new hire information into HR system.
  • Assist in planning and executing streamlined onboarding and training procedures for all new hires.
  • Assist in the creation and maintaining of training schedules for mandatory and optional trainings.
  • Send notifications and reminders to staff scheduled to attend upcoming trainings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for staff attendance of trainings.
  • Assist in the setup and remain present during trainings to ensure programs run efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Operations, IT, and Finance for setup, onboarding related training sessions.
  • Generate new hire and training reports as necessary.
  • Perform related duties and tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from fouryear college or university; and 5+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be passionate about working with people and be customercentric.
  • Experience in the event marketing or a creative solutions based agency a plus.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.

  • Actively works out solutions.
  • Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate.
  • Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files.
  • Exhibit the ability to multitask and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and followup skills are required.
  • Proficient using Microsoft office programs.
