Description

General responsibilities:


Outreach

  • Execute outreach strategies, proactively target potential clients and business partners to grow the company's client base and enhance brand presence
  • Develop outreach materials and presentations that effectively communicate the company's value proposition
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing department to align outreach initiatives with company goals
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends
  • Engage in various prospecting methods, including cold calling, facetoface meetings and networking events
  • Continuously assess and compile data on the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, providing regular reports to the Business Development Director
  • Prepare company presentations for the Business Development Team
  • Cultivate strong relationships with thirdparty and partner companies that may be essential to the delivery of full solutions to our clients
  • Coordinate and actively participate in industry events, networking meetings, webinars and forums to promote the company's products and services
  • Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients

Reporting

  • Report on outreach activities during weekly Biz Dev meetings
  • Accurately record all outreach activities in the company's CRM
  • Complete project opportunity briefs and facilitate knowledge transfers to Account Managers

Department coordination

  • Coordinate department meetings and keep meeting minutes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless information flow and activity coordination
  • Provide support to Account Managers for client presentation preparation
  • Assist Account Managers with internal administrative tasks, such as project opening process followup and preparing internal project onboarding meetings

Other considerations:


  • Hybrid role
  • Occasional travel required

Qualifications and skills required:


  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • At least 2 years' handson experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Resultoriented with a focus on generating business growth
  • Proficiency in CRM software and market analysis tools
  • Strong working knowledge of client presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Slack (an asset)
  • Solid understanding of Float4's industry (current trends, key players, relevant issues, industryspecific vocabulary)
