Description
Responsible for all account payable tasks and activities

  • Responsible for accounts receivable tasks and activities
  • Managing bank accounts in various currencies
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end financial reports / statements as required by the corporate finance department
  • Preparing cash flow statements
  • Supporting HR Preparing the payroll
  • Running various SAP reports to guide the management team
  • Helping to keep the working capital in an optimal range and to improve cash flow through monitoring payment terms from customers and suppliers closely
  • Helping to prepare income tax return for the CRA with the help of outside service provider
  • Responsible for HST / GST submissions and refunds and for WSIB submissions
  • Helping to gather the necessary information for the SRED filing through service provider.
  • Helping with the administration of Employee benefits
  • Updating and keeping loan grid schedules current

Demonstrated Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Controlling or similar
  • Ability to combine solution patterns and find solutions independently
  • Proficient in SAP is a must
  • Be able to adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines
  • 5 Years of working experience in the financial/controlling field
  • Regular coordination with internal and external parties and the representation of various interests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Systematic and detailoriented way of working as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Teamspirit
