    Description
    MatrixHR is currently recruiting for machine operators for sites in and around the city of Calgary AB.

    Pay: $26/hr - $28/hr
    All considered candidates MUST have a valid operating certificate, CSTS 2020 and WHIMS 2015

    Responsibilities:
    • Must be trained and have experience on the following equipment: Forklifts, zoom booms, scissor lifts, and bobcat.
    • Must operate in a safe cautious manner at all times.
    • Previous experience within an Equipment Operator capacity is required.
    • Must have considerable applicable equipment operation experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
    • Must have a demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.

    Other duties as required:
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring, and barricades.
    • Assist in framing and erecting walls.
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry is required.

    • Excellent communication in English required.
    • Authorization to work in Canada.

    Working Conditions:
    • Exposure to cold/hot weather. Appropriate dress required for weather conditions.
    • Exposure to noise, dust, pollution.
    • Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools.
