Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Accomplish construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and subcontractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders
  • Directly contribute to production by working alongside crew when necessary
  • Provide a direct link to the clients ensuring communications are handled in a professional manner while managing and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Review construction drawings and specifications, planning and preparation of execution, inspection, testing, and safe work plans, and preemptively address potential conflicts / problem areas
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing health and safety standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  • Managing subcontractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub
- contractors; monitoring and controlling performance

  • Communicate and work with the Project Manager and other personnel as required with respect to changes to methods, materials, budget, schedules, and procedures

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of extensive experience in residential renovations and/or new home construction
  • Journeyman/woman carpentry ticket
  • Experience managing construction projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience mentoring a team
  • Ability to offer a high level of customer service
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation

Salary:
$30.00-$38.00 per hour
