    In your role as Replenishment Coordinator, Giant Tiger at The North West Company (NWC), you will act as the gatekeeper to coordinating of store orders and flyer information for Giant Tiger (GT), providing support to the NWC replenishment team, and working closely with the Category Specialist to troubleshoot and monitor Giant Tiger related inquiries.

    Your Role :

    Act as the primary liaison between internal and external GT partners:
  • Monitor flyer activity and advise replenishment and demand planning teams of order status and required timing
  • Provide forecasts to demand planners against key activities
  • Monitor warehouse movement of GT items, flagging and raising items of concern to replenishment team and category specialist for review
  • Assist in monitoring vendor lead time of data requirements for order fulfillment
  • Ensure escalation of issues/questions to supervisor in a timely manner
  • Export data from the SOMS system and distribute information to appropriate parties
  • Manage change requests between replenishment analysts and GT Ottawa
  • Monitor placeholder SKUs and escalate SKU errors to category specialist for correction
  • Maintain GT Flyer Planner for review by replenishment analysts
  • Accountable for the creation and distribution of replenishment reporting to GT partners, including:
  • Daily inventory reports
  • Fill rate reporting
  • GT AR (Auto replenishment) reporting
  • Accountable to safeguard data integrity within store ordering and MMS systems, enabling for the timely processing of replenishment orders:
  • Ensure quantities in AS system are correctly reflected in SOMS for procurement
  • Format and submit required system changes based on inventory levels
  • Identify data errors in AS / SOMS / RETEK systems
  • Manage GT mailbox:
  • Organizing emails throughout the day
  • Monitor, review and action documents from Giant Tiger Ottawa
  • Desired Skills & Experience :
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or a combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with RETEK and AS systems an asset
  • Must possess a high degree of organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Display of enterprising attitude
  • Previous customer service experience an asset.
