    Description

    HUMAN was founded in 2012 in a Brooklyn sci-fi bookstore by Tamer Hassan, Michael Tiffany, Dan Kaminsky, and Ash Kalb.

    Our humble beginnings led to the creation of the Human Defense Platform, the backbone of all our products that safeguards enterprises from sophisticated bots, fraud, and account abuse.

    You will be a part of the HUMAN front line in our commitment to protecting companies (and in turn, their customers) from both revenue and reputation risk caused by digital attacks.

    We want to hear about the marathon you're training for. Together under the HUMAN brand, we will disrupt the economics of cybercrime. We are seeking a talented senior Backend Engineer to lead our team.
    Take a leading role in shaping both architectural and business decisions, driving meaningful impact.
    End-to-end (E2E)

    Ownership:

    Take full responsibility for projects from the initial design and architecture stages through to implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.


    Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    Regularly monitor system performance, identify and resolve any issues to maintain optimal operation.

    Who you are:

    Experienced Backend Engineer:
    +5 years of professional experience focused on backend system design and implementation.

    Proficiency in Queues and Databases:
    Expert in handling complex challenges in high-load environments through adept use of multithreaded programming techniques.

    Architectural Knowledge:
    Solid understanding of architectural frameworks and best practices for large-scale backend services.
    Passionate about leveraging technology to solve problems, continuously exploring new tools and methodologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
