We are looking to add a full time
Sales Analyst to our team.


General Description:


Under general direction of the Vice President Sales & Marketing, the Sales Analyst will be the key person for consulting with the business to understand its goals and objectives, processes, and requirements.

The Sales Analyst will focus on the sales health of the business by creating detailed, and conclusive reports that provide important insights for the organization's management.

The Sales Analyst will know what's really hiding in data; allowing for clearer insight, a better decision, competitive advantage, and most importantly, the success of our business and our customers.

The Sales Analyst will also be responsible to manage the organization's CRM program as well as oversight to deal formation and sales contract submittal process.


Characteristics, Features, Requirements:

This position requires strong mathematical skills and the ability to understand and interpret numerical information. Verbal communication skills are imperative as analysis will be presented to senior management and stakeholders.


Reporting:

The Sales Analyst reports directly to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

The Sales Analyst is required to report as follows, but not limited to:


  • Meet on a weekly basis with the sales team to share progress and updates.

Important and Essential Duties:

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Sales Analyst Responsibilities_
  • Own endtoend process of developing and maintaining complex reports and analyses, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Be involved in key strategic projects by aligning data requirements with business needs and execution.
  • Support business areas by delivering ad hoc data requests, while collaborating to get to the optimal data interpretation.
  • Liaise with other departments to enhance knowledge of business products, system functionality and data quality.
  • Identify trends and key metrics to support the business in identifying crucial findings to make better decisions.
  • Manage CRM database and data entry process as well as ownership of deal formation and contract submission for hand off from Sales to the rest of the business.
  • Knowledge/skill/abilities_
  • Excellent proficiency with SAS/SQL language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, namely Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to leverage strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present key findings to management and other team members
  • Strong work ethic, curious and persistent determination in reviewing and reconciling variances
  • Highly organized, detailoriented, and can initiate proactively
  • Ability to produce deliverables accurately and on time with mínimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to an evolving environment with shifting priorities and with the capacity to handle multiple competing demands and meet tight turnaround timelines
  • Problemsolving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Qualifications_
  • University Degree in a quantitative field, economics, business, engineering or equivalent
  • Combined minimum of 2+ years' experience analyzing data for sales, operations, customers service, etc. making strategic recommendations to senior management
  • Earned experience working in the utility or billing industry, considered an asset
  • Experience working with CRM, namely ZOHO One, considered an asset
