    Senior Manager, Disability Management

    Location:
    Main Campus, Ottawa

    Join our dynamic Human Resources team at the University of Ottawa We're known for collaboration and service excellence, driving innovative and client-centered HR programs.

    Reporting to the Senior Director, Labour and Employee Relations, the Senior Manager, Disability Management plays a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating disability management policies and programs for all university employees.


    Team Management:
    Lead a multidisciplinary team supporting employee return-to-work strategies.

    Strategy:
    Provide institutional leadership on disability management, identifying corrective measures and making strategic recommendations.

    Policy Development:
    Develop and implement disability management policies aligned with the University's vision and best industry practices.
    University degree in HR, disability management, or related field; Master's degree is an asset.
    ~7 years' leadership experience in HR, disability management, or health-related roles.
    ~ In-depth knowledge of disability management, WSIB, and accommodation management.
    ~ Familiarity with health and safety, emergency and risk management.
    ~ Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
