Our client, a Montreal-based company founded in 1996, has brought a taste of Italy to Canadian families by offering a wide selection of fresh pasta and authentic Italian meals.

Join their team and take charge of all human resources functions within the company, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, team activities, health and safety, and learning and development. We are looking for a highly motivated HR professional who is ready and enthusiastic to take on new tasks and challenges. Would you like to make a significant contribution to the elaboration and application of human resources initiatives, and play a key role in their development? We would like to meet you.

Your main responsibilities:

Coordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities.
Maintain a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
Maintain and update Employee Files accordingly, including digitalization of physical documents.
Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of employee vacations and leave requests.
Coordination of performance reviews.
Ensure company policy awareness among employees.
Work with management team in providing adhoc reports.
Coordinate with Payroll on Benefits and RRSP program management.
Organize employee appreciation activities (i.e. Christmas parties, BBQ, gifts, bonuses...)
Point of contact for employee questions and communications.
Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
Ensure company compliance with all government and CNESST requirements.
Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.

Qualifications required:

Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent.
Experience in human resources or related field.
Professional ability of the French language, including written and spoken.
Working knowledge of the English language, including written and spoken.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in educating and coaching staff, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
Knowledge of employment laws and labour standards.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of payroll software or procedures, an asset.
CHRP / CRHA professional designation, an asset.
