Job Summary:


We are looking for a digital marketing expert, who is passionate about developing and implementing research and evidence-based digital, social and traditional marketing strategies and campaigns.

You will be part of our Strategic Communications and Initiatives City Marketing team that plans and executes many of the City's main marketing and communications projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work directly with internal clients to plan, support and/or execute, optimize and reportout on digital, social and traditional marketing campaigns and programs to ensure campaigns are successfully implemented.
  • Use historical data, current trends and practices to develop and propose new ideas for campaigns.
  • Use primary and secondary research to gather insights that will inform marketing campaign recommendations.
  • Conceptualize marketing content for digital and social media strategies, web/digital design and all aspects of digital marketing campaigns to support the City's strategic goals.
  • Drive the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of new digital, social and other advertising opportunities and provide detailed analysis and performance update recommendations.
  • Manage marketing and other projects to deliver the desired results within defined campaign parameters including timelines, budgets and KPIs.
  • Maintain an awareness of current trends and technology in related fields.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree in marketing, communications, social media and/or digital marketing
  • Minimum of 46 years of experience in digital and social media marketing
  • Experience managing complex digital advertising campaigns with proven experience meeting campaign targets, goals and budgets
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and metrics including Programmatic ad buying platforms, SEM (Paid Search), Social Media Management tools, social engagement and web analytics
  • Proven critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent client management skills, strong written and verbal communications, strong dynamic presentation skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new techniques and technology including remaining current with trends in digital marketing
  • Able to work in both MAC OS and Windows environments

Hourly Rate/Salary:
$ 73, $ 97,802.00
