Based in the Tilbury industrial estate Delta, Mint Tiny House Company has been manufacturing Tiny House RV's and Park models since early 2014.

Mint has since grown to become one of the largest Tiny House manufacturers in the Northwest, shipping tiny house RVs and Park Models all across the USA and Canada

About the role
As the Materials Handler, you will be an integral part of the warehouse.

You will be working alongside the purchasing and procurement team, making sure we have all we need to sustain our operations, anticipating needs and assuring our orders are delivered and received accurately.

You are reliable, enjoy working in teams and are great at taking directions.

What you'll be doing

Receiving / unloading packages from incoming deliveries, processing paperwork and staging the received goods in the designated area.
Inspecting contents of deliveries and report any damages.
Conducting weekly cycle count of all inventories.
Informing procurement team of any goods that need to be ordered.
Picking items for jobs and put them into assigned carts for each project in production.
Organizing and maintaining inventory throughout the production plant.
Parts runs, which involves driving the company van to suppliers and purchasing goods.
Shipping out parts / packages to clients.
Unloading shipping containers with incoming parts.

What we're looking for

3+ years of forklift operations experience is required
Material handling experience is an asset
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting heavy boxes/lumber)
Valid Forklift ticket is required
Class 5 License is required
Previous experience in operating RF Scanners
Basic MS Office skills and be adaptable to learn new software
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Be well organized, able to think quickly and resolve issues.
Team player and able to take direction well.
