- Carry-out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including but not limited to:
- Reviewing information transferred from CrewTrac to ensure pay accuracy.
- Making adjustments and corrections for crew reserve trades, partial trades.
- Processing exception alerts generated by the pay system.
- Checking schedules that have activity that passes between two calendar months.
- Reviewing information transferred from CrewTrac to ensure pay accuracy.
- Review and approve crew bank adjustments.
- Issue transaction follow up notices and monitor updated requests.
- Set up and check lower block, Part Time (PT), Reduced Time Block (RTB) and other monthly guarantee considerations for Flight Attendants and Pilots.
- Prorate sick and stat bank entitlement for PT, RTP, RTB for FAs or Pilots, as necessary.
- Track and enter hours in Rainmaker for crew that are working in modified positions.
- Amend Pilot and Inflight MMG in full training months or as necessary for other considerations.
- Complete required checklists for all leaves and returns which involves adjusting pay according to effective dates from the Leave/Return Work Tool; monitoring email communication from base administrators and UltiPro BI reports; and
- communicating with the Health Service team.
- Ensure accuracy in payouts/deductions of all banks for employees terminating employment.
- Maintain and review Special Circumstance tracker used to aid in managing special cases.
- Set crew attributes in Rainmaker based on information provided on the blocking anomalies spreadsheet, US per diem spreadsheet and other.
- Review potential pay discrepancies, make needed adjustments, and monitor any corrections through to repayment or recovery.
- Answer crewmember inquires as received via Rainmaker, telephone, and e-mail.
- Respond to pay inquiries received from crew managers.
- Respond to questions from Payroll Front and Back Office.
- Correspond with Crew Scheduling and Resource Planning through Crew Trac Adjustment Request (CTAR) inquires.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Work experience in the airline industry is an asset.
- 2 years of work experience in payroll or accounting.
- Must work well under pressure and be a great team player.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and particularly Excel.
- This position occasionally requires weekend work or overtime to meet pay deadlines.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
- Experience using CrewTrac or other Sabre products would be a definite asset.
- Bilingualism (English & French) considered an asset.
