    Role: Software Developer – Market Data

    Squarepoint is a global investment management firm that utilizes a diversified portfolio of systematic and quantitative strategies across financial markets that seeks to achieve high quality, uncorrelated returns for our clients. We have deep expertise in trading, technology and operations and attribute our success to rigorous scientific research. As a technology and data-driven firm, we design and build our own cutting-edge systems, from high performance trading platforms to large scale data analysis and compute farms. With offices around the globe, we emphasize true, global collaboration by aligning our investment, technology and operations teams functionally around the world.

    Main Function

    The market data team designs, builds and maintains firm wide infrastructure which connects the firm to global markets at a high speed. We write and maintain native exchange feeds used for generating trading signals for research, as well as managing production infrastructure to access markets during live trading. We constantly improve our platform to increase performance and stability. We collaborate closely with the quants to build products aligned with business priorities. Quality control, testing and monitoring are central to the development of each of our products.

    You will :

  • Work closely with stakeholders and team members to define requirements, iterate quickly, and deliver functionality with high quality.
  • Design and build market data software for new venues, implement new features and improvements to the overall Market Data platform.
  • Automate away mundane tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of projects throughout their full engineering lifecycle.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables are maintained high standards with robust testing procedures which is central part of the development process.
  • Provide level 2 support for supported products to be highly available for business.

    • Must have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related subject.
  • 4+ years' C/C++ Linux based development experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
