Location
Markham, Ontario


This is an on-site role as the hiring team will require the student to work in the Markham office throughout the entire duration of the co-op work term.


Program Term
16-month position from May 6, 2024 to August 29, 2025


About the Department
The Data Center GPU Business Unit is responsible for AMD's Instinct line of business for AI and HPC workloads.

This is a fast growing and strategic business for AMD - this position will report into Product Marketing but ill have opportunity to rotate to the different teams within the business unit - product marketing, product management, business development, market research, and even business operations.


The Role


As a Data Center GPU Product and Digital Marketing Rotation Co-op, you will contribute to the explosive growth of AMD Instinct within the AI market.

The focus of the role is to promote and grow AMD's Data Center GPU business for AI.

You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams within the business unit, as well as across the broader company - giving you the ability to better understand the various roles that exist within the company.


You have the opportunity to shape your role at AMD and lead your own projects based on where you see opportunities to make impactful changes for the benefit of the entire team.


What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the creation of product narratives, marketing campaigns, social media content, and other product and digital marketing collateral
  • Help develop and execute digital marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to company websites
  • Monitor digital and social channels for activity and engagement, reporting back to the team on a regular basis
  • Assist with the development and implementation of SEO strategies

Key Qualifications

  • 3rd year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
  • Returning to school following the coop term
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative mindset ability to look at things from a different angle and willingness to challenge "what's been done before"

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ambitious, highenergy, and passionate individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Critical thinker with strong problemsolving skills
