What will you be doing?


Reporting to the Category Manager - Refreshments, the Assistant Category Manager - Refreshments will work closely with the team to manage and optimize ANBL's refreshments portfolio, merchandizing strategy, and marketing initiatives.

They ensure the best products, prices, and placement in our retail stores, and assist with competitive analysis, forecasting, and promotional planning.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the product portfolio, including listing and delisting recommendations, and monitoring sales targets
  • Implementing and enhancing the Category and Portfolio Plan
  • Analyzing and reporting on category data to identify and capitalize on opportunities
  • Sourcing products and reviewing portfolio performance with vendors
  • Developing relationships with suppliers and agents
  • Work with vendor partners to develop execute instore merchandising programs

What do you need to be successful?

  • Postsecondary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in MS office, including Excel and PowerPoint

It would be fantastic if you also had:

  • An understanding of category management practices, including product lifecycle management
  • Forecasting experience
  • Vendor management experience
  • Indepth knowledge of our refreshment portfolio
  • Bilingualism in both official languages
