The Sarnia manufacturing facility is the headquarters for ARLANXEO Canada Inc. with a Global Research & Development Centre for Butyl Rubber found in London, Ontario.

Focused on the production of synthetic rubber, the Sarnia facility is a major supplier to both domestic and international markets and employs over 300 employees.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for delivery processing & transport planning of ARLANXEO orders out of external warehouses which includes generating order tracking reports, delivery creation and transport disposition according to the customer requested arrival date & approved carrier rate sheets.

Accurate processing of information for domestic and coordination of the 'delivery processing & transport planning' activities with warehouse and within the order fulfilment team.

Ensure accurate delivery data, staging data and transport scheduling data in relevant systems used.

The incumbent is also responsible for timely and accurate processing and monitor import orders from other ARLANXEO sites.
Monitors order receipt and ensures timely processing in according to customer requested arrival date.
Performs order check (complete & customer requirements) and escalate issues to supervisor and/or CSR.
Monitors and handles ATP / Credit blocked and allocated orders in close cooperation with the supervisor.
Delivery creation, shipment unit creation & transport disposition according to customer requested arrival date & approved carrier rate sheets.
Discuss transport disposition issues & premium freight with carrier and supervisor and/or CSR.
Coordinates 'rush delivery' processing within the distribution team, warehouse & carriers.
Propose & communicate alternative shipping schedule to CSR as a result of short notice, various operational constraints and availability issues.
Process return orders, delivery creation and transport disposition for return and import shipments.
Maintain correct data in SAP S4/HANA or Transport Management System (FIORI) for order fulfillment processes and CSR order tracking.
Maintain good working relations with carriers and forwarding agents in order to resolve challenging transport issues (short notice, equipment availability issues, service issues, )
Monitor service deviations, report to supervisor and if needed notify & resolve with CSR
Process ownership for 'delivery processing & transport disposition' ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are in place, maintained, approved and in alignment with the business requirements and CITT requirements.

Is responsible for material selection & batch determination of rubber deliveries in accordance to the order requirements in time and in full, taking into account optimized warehouse usage and inventory composition.

Perform batch determination according to customer & order requirements, shipping schedule, inventory optimization and detailed scheduling.
Communicate exceptions and prioritize with warehouse, logistics service providers, carriers and supervisor.
Proactively (on short & mid term) identify quality/packaging unbalances and/or inventory shortages to the detailed scheduler/supervisor.
Interface with detailed scheduler (allocation management) regarding batch determination and exception management.
Monitor service deviations, report to supervisor and if needed notify & resolve with CSR

(deviation notification).

Manage export order sample delivery creation process and shipment.
Post return in the SAP MM/WM inventory and coordinate with the receiving warehouse and quality assurance.

Education/Experience/Skills and Requirements
Post-secondary education related to Logistics, Business Administration or Materials Management - 3 to 5 years experience required, 5 to 7 years preferred

CITT or P.Log designation is an asset
Experience with export order fulfillment, shipping functions, freight forwarding and customs requirements
Experience with International Trade laws, regulations and policies preferred
Working knowledge of and experience in the rubber/chemicals/petrochemical industries preferred
Strong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communicat
