    Position Title: Insurance Advisor Assistant

    Location: Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area, Alberta Type: Permanent, on-site The Position Join our esteemed client in the financial services sector as an Advisor Assistant. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven professional to complement our client's internal team of Advisors. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the insurance sector and a strong inclination towards both administrative support tasks and client-facing activities. What You'll Do
    • Efficiently handle insurance cases, ensuring timely processing of new client applications, as well as proactively anticipating term renewals for the following products: Term Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Group Plan Administration, Health & Dental Insurance, Permanent Insurance, Disability Insurance, Accident & Sickness.
    • Stay on top of insurance term renewals, proactively communicating with clients and advisors to ensure seamless renewal processes.
    • Demonstrate strong organizational skills by anticipating upcoming tasks, deadlines, and projects, ensuring a smooth workflow within the office.
    • Effectively communicate with clients through email and phone, addressing inquiries, providing updates, initiating, and administering term renewal processes, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Utilize Microsoft 365 tools, with a particular emphasis on strong proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting purposes.
    • Exhibit a proactive rather than reactive mindset, identifying opportunities for improvement, anticipating challenges, and taking initiative to address them.
    Mandatories
    • Previous experience in a similar insurance-related role within the financial services sector, including knowledge of the following product offerings: Term Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Group Plan Administration, Health & Dental Insurance, Permanent Insurance, Disability Insurance, Accident & Sickness.
    • A relevant diploma or degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, as well as an LLQP designation (asset).
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. French fluency is a strong asset.
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial planning and fund comparison software.
    • Strong work ethic, driven, and motivated to achieve both personal and team goals.
    • Must be able to reliably be on-site Monday-Friday
