Job Description:


As the hydraulic Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the successful repair of Bosch Rexroth fluid power solutions and subsequent aftermarket service requirements in the Western Region.

Duties & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Assessing components to determine if suitable for reuse and performing repairs and testing to products following specifications
  • Troubleshooting and commissioning of systems
  • Follow all service work instructions and procedures and reporting on all service related activities
  • Supporting activities of the sales team to drive growth of Bosch products and services
  • Leading and/or contributing to projects as necessary for the growth of the service department and organization.
  • Defining training and/or equipment requirements for new technologies
  • Creating Continuous Improvement Projects to improve internal efficiencies, and that promote customer obsession, and improved response times.
  • Supporting in equipment maintenance and PM's
  • Participating and creating risk assessments and reviews
  • Developing inspection and verification schedules related to 5S principles, identify and communication deficiencies or improvements required.
  • Participating in monthly JHSC meetings
  • Shipping and receiving duties where required
  • Assist with service technical inquiries where required

Qualifications:


  • Degree in Mechatronics, Fluid Power, Electronic Technologist, or Mechanical Technologist diploma or relevant experience
  • Experience with configuration and diagnosis of hydraulic and electromechanical devices
  • Attention to Detail is thorough when performing work
  • Able to plan and prioritize in a multitasking work environment
  • Writes in clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience
  • Arrives on time to work, meetings and appointments.
  • Takes prompt action to accomplish tasks and meet goals and objectives
  • Applies effective interpersonal and problemsolving skills when responding to customers
  • High level of interest in using technology to improve efficiency
  • Able to push/ pull/ carry/ lift up to 60lbs
