About the Role:
Position: Registered Nurse
Responsibilities:
This is a part-time opportunity as a relief nurse until May 26, 2024, or until the previous nurse returns.
Shifts are scheduled for both days and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About the Location/Unit:
Shuswap Lake General Hospital (SLGH) features an active obstetrical unit providing antenatal and postpartum care. With around 240 annual births, the facility offers additional OB training for its staff, conducting 12-hour shifts with 2 nurses per shift.
SLGH serves as a community hospital offering 24/7 emergency, laboratory, radiology, acute care beds, and obstetrical services. The facility covers key physician specialties like internal medicine and low complexity general surgery along with ambulatory care day surgery.
