ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of our employees.

Application and end user services are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database services.

The Alchemy team operates within Enterprise Computing's Infrastructure Transformation organization and is primarily responsible for coordinating the refresh and upgrade of end-of-life server and storage assets across the firm's global data center portfolio.

Alchemy manages a capital budget of approximately ~$60m which is used to purchase new compute and storage technology required to meet the firms ongoing hygiene mandates.

Position Description:

Duties and responsibilities:

Testing, debugging and troubleshooting of Linux platform level problems
Working closely with the global counterparts and under the direction of the global lead
Building and developing our internal Linux Infrastructure automation tooling using common programming languages such as Perl, Python and Javascript
Collaborate with offshore Linux resources to help resolve any problems and be an escalation point for complex issues
Build and configure new server platforms and develop automated tooling to speed up the process

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills required:
5+ years' experience configuring, managing & troubleshooting Linux Redhat Servers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienced or related field
Good Object-Oriented Programming skills (e.g. Python, Javascript, Perl)
Experience debugging a complex multiserver service
Configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt or Ansible
Experience in test cycles and methodologies
Working within a productcentric environment
Good English communication skills: both written and verbal
