Position Summary
SolidCAD is looking to fill an immediate position within our AEC professional services team.

We are seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager who will oversee the successful achievement of outcomes for our clients that require consulting services for the existing and emerging technology utilized by the AEC industry in Quebec.

This position is ideal for BIM process enthusiasts who understand the AEC industry and enjoy leading projects to improve the adoption and optimization of BIM.

This position is in the province of Quebec, fluent French speaking is a requirement.
In this role, you will...

Responsible for the success and profitability of projects through managing budget, scope, resources, client expectations, project invoicing and reporting.
Ensure that strong communication is in place between SolidCAD and the client throughout the duration of the project.
Communicate expectations for work assigned to the technical team.
Use project management tools to schedule resources, assign work, manage sequence and dependencies.
Work with the AEC team to develop formal responses including proposals, recommendations, statements of work, project plans, business cases.
Provide technical mentorship and support to project teams around BIM Management and process.
Review and assist in the delivery of technical project requirements such as BIM process and infrastructure development.
Continually expand your knowledge of features and workflows in the latest software releases within the AEC portfolio.
Participate in marketing events.
Participate in technical team meetings, and/or industry team meetings as directed by management team.
To also work at the direction of management on any new initiatives per the discretion of management as it relates to the duties of a project manager.

About you...

Ability to identify and have a proactive approach towards project issues and risks.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and preferably English for optimal interactions between clients, technical team, sales team, administration, and management.
Ability to speak confidently and run client meetings.
Proficiency with Project Management process and workflow.
Effective organization and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
Familiar with BIM process, infrastructure development and corresponding best practices
Experience in teaching or mentoring related to BIM process and software
Experience in project management and BIM management within the AEC industry preferred.
MS Project and Bluebeam experience preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Fluent French speaking, or bilingual French/English.
Willing to travel within Quebec and occasionally to other provinces.
