Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
- Align and straighten tiles.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damage tiles.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs.
- Install tiles strips.
Requirements:
- Experienced in the installation of tile.
- Basic hand tool experience.
- Ability to handle large workloads.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colours.
- Handeye coordination
- Ability to communicate verbally, in English
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Reliable.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Working Conditions
- Physically demanding, including bending, crouching, kneeling
- Heavy workload
