    Sales Acccount Manager - Packaging Solutions

    Our client, a leading packaging solutions provider, specializes in manufacturing high-quality shrink sleeve labels, folding cartons, stand-up pouch filling, labels, co-packing, and related services. With a commitment to innovation and quality, we are poised for growth and expansion into new sectors

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of successful sales experience within the packaging industry and possess a proven track record of building and maintaining a robust book of business. This role is pivotal in driving our expansion into new markets and sectors.

    *** This position is a sales-hunter role, not your typical sales farming role ***

    Responsibilities:

    Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry, targeting diverse sectors.
    • Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to expand our client base.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

    Client Management:

    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

    Market Research:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market intelligence.

    Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for the client and the company.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our packaging solutions.

    Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Provide feedback from the market to contribute to product and service enhancements.
    • Work closely with management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 5-10 years of proven sales experience in the packaging industry.
    • ** Established book of business within the packaging sector **
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Corporate and polished demeanor, with a focus on building professional relationships.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • ** Strong Sales Hunter mindset is a must have **

    Compensation:

    • Competitive base salary between $95,000-$125,000.
    • Commission structure based on sales performance.
    • Expenses covered for business-related travel and client meetings.
