    Description

    Alteo is looking for a Java Back-End Developer for a permanent position based in Montreal.

    The Java Back-End Developer will work on SAAS products within a dynamic company that is a leader in its field.

    Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new functionalities in the applications used by our editors to publish content and in our public websites.
  • Implement measures to measure the quality of the solution developed: response time, functional coverage of tests, etc.
  • Optimize the performance and reliability of our applications, both at server and client level.
  • Technically support the solution once in production: manage anomalies, ensure its durability by refreshing technologies, etc.
  • Manage the ingestion and processing of large amounts of data and the performance challenges this represents.

    • Profile:

  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
  • 0-3 years' experience as a Java Developer
  • Good knowledge of Java
  • Knowledge of Python (asset)
  • Good knowledge of : Linux, PostgreSQL, SOLR, Git, Apache-*, Spring-*, Maven, Jenkins, etc. (asset)
  • Good communication skills in French (oral and written)

    Alteo est à la recherche d'un Développeur Java Back-End pour un emploi permanent basé à Montréal.

    Le Développeur Java Back-End travaillera sur des produits SAAS au sein d'une entreprise dynamique et leader dans son domaine.

    Responsabilités:
  • Concevoir et implanter de nouvelles fonctionnalités dans les applications utilisées par nos éditeurs pour la publication de contenus et dans nos sites web public
  • Mettre en place les mesures pour mesurer la qualité de la solution développée : temps de réponse, couverture fonctionnelle des tests, etc.
  • Optimiser la performance et la fiabilité de nos applications, tant au niveau serveur qu'au niveau client.
  • Soutenir techniquement la solution une fois en production : gérer les anomalies, assurer sa pérennité en rafraichissant les technologies, etc.
  • Gérer l'ingestion et le traitement de grandes quantités de données de même que les défis de performance que cela représente
    • Profil:
  • DEC/BAC en TI ou équivalent
  • 0-3 années d'expérience en tant que Développeur Java
  • Bonnes connaissances en Java
  • Connaissances en Python (atout)
  • Idéalement posséder une bonne connaissance de : Linux, PostgreSQL, SOLR, Git, Apache-*, Spring-*, Maven, Jenkins, etc. (atout)
  • Bonne communication en français (oral, écrit)
