What you'll do
Canadian Tire's Line Review Operations (LRO) department is the one-stop shop for Merchants, Stores and Cross-Functional teams for non-promo deal governance, assortment execution and communication that delivers customer-driven, new and optimized products and programs to stores.
- Execute seasonal and adhoc schedule builds (250+ projects per year) to high standards of accuracy ensuring all schedules are built to LRO standards/guidelines and Dealer policies
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure schedules are executable within store capacity and other internal constraints
- Evaluate and make recommendations on new deal requests and deal changes
- Create and maintain schedule templates and projects in scheduling system
- Gather and analyze information from crossfunctional teams for schedule build process
- Work with Training team to ensure stakeholders are well educated on the scheduling process and training material is up to date
- Execute project maintenance tasks in system; Troubleshoot and escalate system issues to Merchandise Systems Administration
- Design, produce and monitor reporting relating to scheduling and line review outcomes to drive continuous improvement initiatives and to provide visibility of current state to key stakeholders
What you bring
- Postsecondary education in business, engineering, project management or other related field
- 2+ years of related experience and/or store experience
- Proven track record of delivering process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Superior organization skills
- Solid communication (verbal and written) and facilitation skills with ability to deal with people at multiple levels of the organization in a professional and competent manner
- Ability to query various data sources to extract and summarize data into actionable insights
