Description

You'll be able to participate in the design of high-level schematics, the development of protection philosophy and contribute to major electrical energy projects.
You'll work in a multidisciplinary environment, developing your skills by collaborating with experienced professionals, particularly on substation and hydroelectric power plant projects with our client, Hydro-Québec.
Design Control and Protection systems using software (AutoCAD and E3)Prepare project deliverables, including detail drawings, electrical diagrams, layouts, equipment sizing, etc.
Collaborate with engineering team members and project managers from other disciplines
Participate in the development of Control and Protection electrical systems, i.e., single-line diagrams, logic diagrams, AC three-wire diagrams, DC protection and control diagrams, wiring drawings, device connection drawings, assembly drawings, material lists and specifications for panel fabrication and field installation.
Participate in site surveys (substations and power plants)Coordinate with engineering disciplines:
switchgear, civil, mechanical and building to develop optimized and advanced substation and power plant system design solutions.
Ability to perform sporadic site work when the opportunity arises (start-up or monitoring)
College Diploma (AEC or DEC) in electrical engineering technology
Experience using AutoCAD software is an asset
Fluency in spoken and written French
Basic knowledge of the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
