Job Description_


The Yard Attendant position offers full-time seasonal employment for someone who enjoys variety, is organized, and enjoys working in a team environment to support the goals of the company.

The Yard Attendant maintains the shop inventory and ensures parts are available and allocated appropriately to employees and crews throughout the year.

This position requires travelling to vendors around Saskatoon to retrieve parts needed to maintain equipment.

Additional duties of this position include but are not limited to washing and cleaning equipment and vehicles, operating the forklift, organizing shop supplies, and performing general maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications_

  • Capable of performing physically demanding work with the ability to lift 50lbs
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Capable of operating Forklift unsupervised (will train)

Responsibilities_

  • Retrieving parts from vendors around Saskatoon
  • Managing parts/filter inventory
  • Organizing shop products (Personal Protective Equipment, tools, cleaners, bolts, paper products, etc.)
  • Ensure adequate amounts of frequently used stock items are readily available
  • Replenish stock when it begins to deplete
  • Washing and cleaning trucks and equipment
  • Tidying and cleaning shops
