PAINTER JOB DESCRIPTION

Hari Home Services is seeking an experienced painter with minimum 4 years of experience in both residential and commercial painting.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Works collaboratively with team members in completing painting projects.
Thoroughly completing initial step of preparing surfaces for painting by washing, wiping, cleaning, scraping, burning, sanding, or other means as necessary.
Mixes, matches, and blends different paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve desired color and consistency as per customer requirement.
Paints surfaces using brush, roller, spray gun or another applicator as needed.
Removes wallpaper properly and correctly, ensuring no damage is done to the walls.
Identify proper materials and material quantities for each project.
Excellent customer care experience and skills.
Communicate effectively and provide thorough information to customers on stepbystep process of the project, ensuring you understand customers painting needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment when necessary.
Work independently and/or with team members effectively.
Perform other tasks as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have strong proficiency in the following tasks: Painting; Drywall repair/installation; Tiling; Flooring.
Have minimum of 4 years of painting experience.
Have appropriate knowledge and certification. Have experience in remodelling and home repair trade.

REQUIREMENTS:

Authorized to work in Canada.
Pass criminal background checks.
Have your personal tools to complete the tasks.

YOUR SKILLS:

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
Physically able to complete tasks that require moving, lifting, and carrying heavy items (up to 30 lbs), using ladder to reach heights, and frequent movement of body such as walking, bending, stretching etc., and other physically demanding workload as necessary.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Adhere to WorkSafe BC Guidelines.
Ability to complete projects accurately and proficiently in a timely manner.
Ability to distinguish between colors to mix, match and create desired paint color.

JOB TYPE

Casual/Oncall
Contract based.

SCHEDULE:

Hours will be based on client booking.
Day Shifts, Evening Shifts.
Monday to Friday
Weekends.

SALARY:

- $30.00 to $35.00 an hour.

Annual bonus pays.

START DATE:
until filled.

WORK LOCATION:

Remote Work.
The position requires commuting to different locations and carrying tools and equipment. It is preferrable to have a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license as well as vehicle insured for work use.
