ROLE:


Reporting to the Product Engineering & QA Manager, the
Project Coordinator is responsible for conducting technical research and assessments and maintaining QA-related documentation.

The Project Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating with various internal and external parties as working towards the completion of projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

ENGINEERING & QA

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities by understanding and analyzing existing policies, procedures, work instructions and standards
  • Conduct research, collecting, and analyzing data for new products in order to prepare reports and documents
  • Investigate product designs to ensure they meet Company requirements
  • Assist with product testing (mechanical, electrical, software)
  • Participate in design review, validation and Quality Assurance planning

PROJECT COORDINATION

  • Coordination with external service providers to understand their resource deployment
  • Coordinate daily / weekly with external service providers to ensure work is on track and schedules duly updated
  • Develop and maintain daily/weekly schedule; ensure all schedules and calendars are updated as soon as required, and any changes circulated immediately
  • Check partner invoices against records to ensure services have been rendered prior to payment
  • Monitor complaints and incidents; report to manager or other appropriate parties for resolution
  • Creation and coordination of service orders for meter trouble shooting
  • Coordinate with property managers and/or homeowners to ensure building and/or suite access for technicians

DOCUMENTATION & RECORD KEEPING

  • Maintain meter inspection records for Measurement Canada compliance, including meter sealing certificates and S-E04 records
  • Assist project management and logistics teams as required
  • Any and all other duties as assigned to meet Company objectives

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Technical degree or diploma required (CET, Engineering diploma/degree, diploma in HVAC, Building Automation)
  • 12 years Work experience in an engineering, construction, or technical services environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel
  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Data retention and/or QA documentation experience an asset
  • Electrical or Mechanical traderelated experience an asset
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrates initiative to learn and solve problems
  • Energetic team player
  • Able to maintain confidentiality

WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • Office environment with potential temporary and/or hybrid work from home arrangements (note highspeed home internet access required)
  • Frequent sitting at desk using manual dexterity to operate computer and peripherals.
  • Ability to attend meetings occasionally at client jobsites with appropriate PPE worn.
