They are currently seeking a skilled Conveyancer to join their team, manage property transactions, and contribute to their commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of the conveyancing process, from contract preparation to settlement.
- Prepare legal documents such as contracts, transfers, mortgages, and leases.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to coordinate property transactions.
- Conduct searches and investigations on property, ensuring there are no legal hindrances to the transaction.
- Assist clients with inquiries about the conveyancing process, providing excellent client service at all times.
- Monitor changes in legislation related to property transactions and maintain uptodate knowledge of regulations and best practices.
- Ensure all conveyancing activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain and update client files and records in the company's database.
- Coordinate with the notary to prepare wills and related documents.
- Attend to postsettlement matters including file closure and archiving.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Conveyancer or a similar role.
- Detailed knowledge of conveyancing processes and legal compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a clientfocused approach.
- Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in document preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of the local property market and real estate legislation is preferred.
- A paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification in legal studies is an advantage.
