Role Responsibilities:


  • Are you looking for an opportunity to use your senior administrative skills in a fast paced and dynamic environment? Join us as our Administrative Team Lead for an opportunity to challenge yourself and advance your administrative career with the Government of Alberta
  • Major responsibilities include manpower administration, general administration, and supervision of staff. With a focus on integrated and consistent delivery, these duties are expected for all program streams within the Region.
  • As an Administrative Unit Lead, your duties would also include but are not limited to:
  • Providing expertise, support and assistance in the preparation of monthly manpower reports and expense forecasts.
  • Running reports as required to support program needs.
  • Ensuring work is completed in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines and in accordance with program delivery goals.
  • Managing and training staff on administrative, financial and human resource related processes.
  • Superving staff to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Ensuring staff serve clients, the general public and stakeholders in a courteous, professional & timely manner

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma plus four (four) years related experience working with human resources, records management or client services.

Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

  • 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
  • 1 year of experience for 1 year education.

Assets:


  • Knowledge of policy, procedures, agreements, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience as a supervisor or relevant role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and interpretation skills.

  • This is fulltime temporary position, located in Fort McMurray.
  • This position works Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM4:30 PM, 36.25 hours a week
