Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various settings such as hotels, industrial facilities, and other hospitality establishments.

Duties:

Clean and sanitize designated areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors to ensure a clean and presentable environment
Change bed linens and replenish amenities as needed
Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency
Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members

COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:
Previous hotel cleaning and customer service experiences are an asset.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand or walk for an extended time period.

Flexible attitude to scheduled shifts - the incumbent may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure.

Literacy skills - reading, writing, and oral.

Outstanding organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Work well independently and in a team environment with minimum supervision.

Self-motivated, honest, creative, capable of working in a team environment.
