THE POSITION


Jonas Software is recruiting for an entry-level business development role within its Mergers and Acquisitions team as part of the Club & Hospitality portfolio at Jonas Software.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct industry and competitive research to identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Analyzing and managing the existing CRM database of available prospects to identify potential targets that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Identifying, engaging, and organizing the meeting of new and existing prospects at tradeshows, and other events
  • Performing data analysis on current and stale prospects to ensure the correct information is kept up to date
  • Assisting with management of a database of new, current, and stale prospects, keeping them current via reporting and pipeline management techniques.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An adaptable and responsible graduate seeking an entrylevel position and a longterm career in a M&A business development role
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance
  • Internship, coop or summer work experience in a challenging environment
  • Ability to analyze and work with large sets of data and create meaningful reports advanced excel skills preferable
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and presentation skills
  • Must be selfmotivated, have organizational agility and have the ability to plan own work schedule and set and monitor personal performance goals
  • Having a longterm career and success mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude and work ethic, with a strong drive for results;
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask between various ongoing responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal interaction and articulation skills
  • Selfstarter with exceptional organization, prioritization and multitasking abilities who thrives on new challenges and takes initiative
