Accounts Payable Analyst (9-Months Contract Role)


GroupM Canada (Toronto Office) is looking for a Accounts Payable
Analyst (9-Month Contract) Role to join our team, Shared Financial Services for a 9 month contract.

We do Media Accounts Payable for approx 10 agencies.

We are looking for a progressive minded individual who has strong attention to detail, loves working in a fast paced environment and is driven by learning and forward thinking.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a good online filing system
  • Daily checking, matching and posting invoices.
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are received on time with proper backups
  • Daily contact with internal media/agency personnel and outside vendors
  • Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis
  • Check weekly payment reports to ensure that vendor address and invoice numbers/amounts are accurate
  • Maintain and follow internal control policies
  • Pull backups for client audits
  • Send invoices to Global Search via Square 9 after each vendor payment schedule
  • Contact vendors for banking information for EFT/ACH/wire payment methods

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education in Accounting or Finance is an asset
  • Analytical with an ability to problem solve independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A team player
  • Proficient with

Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • An individual who is able to work simultaneously on several tasks while maintaining an immaculate attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic selfmotivated individual who is eager to learn and to take on challenges
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Experience with Mediaocean systems is an asset
