Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Development, the Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of existing Human Resources and Organizational Development programs and functions.

This will include assisting in the design and implementation of new and innovative programs to advance Osler's culture and enable the people of Osler to do and be their best.


Accountabilities:

  • Research industryleading organizational development programs and practices to inform new and innovative improvements
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder engagements analyzing feedback to inform solution design, development and implementation
  • Plan and conduct program evaluations (via meetings, focus groups, surveys), analyze data collected, identify gaps/opportunities for improvements and prepare recommendations
  • Develop, review and edit organizational programfocused communications to support outreach and engagement in Organizational Development programming
  • Design and develop learnercentered/performancebased instructional materials, manuals, eLearning and job aids that support learning transfer
  • Oversee program and event logistics and vendors
  • Document key processes in a clear and concise formats to inform process improvements
  • Answer and support programming inquiries to enable user adoption and enhance experiences with Organizational Development programs

Qualifications

  • University degree/college diploma in human resources management, business, education or organizational development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificate or training in adult education would be considered an asset
  • Minimum of three years of experience in human resources, organizational development or a project environment focused on organizational improvement initiatives
  • Experience with program evaluation and/or performance gap analysis to inform the design of learning programs and/or program enhancements
  • Proficiency with eLearning module design and video editing is preferred
  • Experience working with a learning management system is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills to produce clear, concise and effective organizational messaging, educational materials, presentations, reports, etc.
  • Demonstrated facilitation, verbal communication and interpersonal skills (consulting, stakeholder engagement, relationship building and presentation/public speaking)
  • Must be comfortable engaging and facilitating sessions with all levels of employees and management in the organization
  • Project management and change management skills would be considered an asset
