VitalAire is currently recruiting an energetic and motivated full-time National Manager, Technical Services. This role will be based out of our Mississauga branch.
The Manager, Technical Services manages and directs customer maintenance activities, coordinates annual inspections and prepares and finalizes annual maintenance reports to customers.
- Responsible for the planning, scheduling and dispatching of field service technicians while identifying required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manages service parts required for scheduled work. Plans work according to demand. Establishes the oncall rotation schedule.
- Collaborates with sales representatives to complete and close new proposals and agreements. Solidifies current customer relationships, and targets the renewal of all customer contracts at the required profitability.
- Supervises the administrative process relating to service elements, such as customer reports, project and maintenance reports, inventory management, quality documents, etc.
- Develops, maintains and updates work tracking sheets for activities of bulk maintenance and MGS Preventive Maintenance contracts.
- Supports to develop programs to achieve equipment and human resources utilization optimization.
- Leads the department towards quality processes and actively promotes quality and safety in all operational aspects in order to improve profits.
- Contributes to a safe working environment by participating in safety activities.
- In collaboration with the Engineering and Construction team, manages the work associated with customer installations (eg bulk tanks, aerALin quality control modules)
- Establishes training needs in order to support sales efforts and to increase the performance and efficiency of the technical teams.
Here's what you will need
- Diploma/Degree in the Technical Field (Engineering, Mechanical, Construction)
- 5+ years of field experience in maintenance functions
- 4+ years of staff supervision
- Computer literate in Google environment and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving, and customer service skills
- Bilingualism is an asset
