    Description
    This is a contract position for a Senior Project Manager for our public sector client.
    Work location: 21 College Street Suite 300, Toronto, ON

    Duration: 9 months

    7.25 hours/day
    This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

    Responsibilities

    • Leading the project team to work effectively and efficiently toward project objectives in a complex and diverse environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities to ensure high quality deliverable
    • Leading technical teams by reviewing their work and resolving day to day issues
    • Developing, maintaining and effectively executing integrated project plans throughout project life cycle in accordance with OPS project management methodologies
    • Developing and managing the project schedule, decomposing the project scope into measurable tasks, with responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and costs Identifying resource requirements and providing project resources/cost estimates
    • Defining, clarifying roles and responsibilities and setting deliverables/quality/ performance expectations for project resources Resolving resourcing conflicts and negotiating changes to resourcing needs.
    • Proactively planning and prioritizing tasks effectively to respond to numerous and diverse challenges and demands Managing internal and external expectations in line with project critical success factors Communicating and controlling the scope, time and cost of the project
    • Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner Identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, mitigating and communicating project risks throughout project lifecycle. Making recommendations based on the technical evaluation of risks and issues along with an understanding of the business implications.
    • Ensuring documents are maintained in a shared repository and that knowledge is shared among team members.
    • Assisting in the facilitation of team, vendor, and client meetings Communicating effectively to identify needs and evaluate solutions to complex business and technical issues
    • Working collaboratively to resolve interdependencies between other projects/work streams reporting on progress and provides timely status updates on assigned projects.
    Qualifications
    Criteria - Project Management 45 points


    • Project Management experience managing large, complex application development projects and associated challenges;
    • Demonstrated experience with creation of project schedules, project plans, issue + risk logs, status reports and associated artefacts.
    • Demonstrated Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle Demonstrated experience with Agile development concepts
    • Demonstrated ability to manage project resources (team members) by aligning skills to tasks, evaluating progress against schedule and adjusting efforts as required.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply project management methodologies, tools and techniques
    • Demonstrated experience identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, mitigating and communicating project risks throughout project lifecycle
    Criteria - Demonstrated experience with OPS Architecture Gating Process 35 points


    • Demonstrated experience taking projects through OPS corporate gating process
    • Developing artifacts for Architecture Gating Processes- AGP0, AGP1 and AGP2, PIA, TRA etc.
    • Demonstrated experience with leading team to develop business and/or functional requirements
    Criteria - Prior experience Implementing EMR solutioning 15 points


    • Prior experience implementing EMR solution
    • Gathering requirements
    • Rollout strategy
    Criteria - Public Sector Experience 5 points


    • Ontario Public Sector experience and health sector experience is an asset
