    The Powertrain Controls Engineer - Intermediate will work closely with a cross-functional team, utilizing various tools (vehicle, HIL, Dyno, Virtual, rapid prototyping) through the V-model development process to ensure the quality and robustness of the production algorithms.

    Development and implementation of high voltage energy management strategies
    # Assess and document control algorithms against regulatory requirements
    # Validate control algorithms during the production process
    # Ensure the project is on track by developing plans, tracking progress, and presenting technical reports to management and project chiefs
    # Participate in the decision-making process on controls strategy design to achieve functional objectives

    Master of Science or an equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar disciplines from an accredited university with - years of relevant engineering work experience.

    Alternatively, a PhD degree in the above disciplines with demonstrable industry-oriented research experience is required. Experience with developing control algorithms
    # Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams on a remote basis

    Knowledge of classic control theory
    # Knowledge of optimization theory and optimal control
