The Licensed Technician maintains and repairs vehicles, working on different makes and models each and everyday.

Requirements:

Automotive Service
Technician License issued by the province of Ontario

- required for Licensed Technicians only.

Valid Ontario G driver's license
Clear Driver's Abstract
Extensive knowledge of different vehicles and their service needs
Ability to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
Ability to work independently or as a team, managing his or her time and work flow

Duties & Responsibilities (as applicable):

Perform the work described in work orders efficiently and accurately
Diagnose the vehicle issues as per the customer's complaints, his/her own inspection and repair the issue(s)
Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the issue
Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems
Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
Report any defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor
Report any incident which may affect the appearance or condition of a vehicle to the Service Consultant as soon as possible
Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions

$55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
