    Internship date : September 3rd to December 20th 2024

    The role we are offering you:

    By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to acquired knowledge on many flight simulation systems, object-oriented programming (C#) and automated testing platform/methodology. You will join a dynamic team with interesting challenges

    Are you ready to:

  • Support the engineering team during the entire development phase of its flight simulators;
  • Participate in the software development of different systems that are part of the cockpit;
  • Elaborate engineering test plan aiming to validate software in an integrated manner;
  • Design and implement automated unit and system tests;
  • Implement and maintain Continuous Integration process on existing and new products;
  • Add features to or fix software tools as needed;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement efforts for the quality of our simulation software;
  • Participate in the debugging of various software;
  • Act as an integrator/validator of various software assets to generate a functional test platform available to all developers;
  • Maintain various laboratories in a functional state at all time;
  • Support simulation validation as needed.

    • Our ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent ability to troubleshoot a problem and identify the root cause(s);
  • Good knowledge of aeronautics;
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C# preferably);
  • Basic knowledge of powershell scripting.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies;
  • Good sense of responsibility, autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Good sense of organisation and planning;
  • Able to work well in a team;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.

    • Preferred Education

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field.

    • Location of the internship is Montreal.

    Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

    *All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
