QUALIFICATIONS:

College Diploma in Social Services or equivalent.
Minimum three years working experience in addictions and behavioral counseling.
Experience and knowledge of addictions

- including treatment modalities and pharmacology; mental health services; case management
- including assessment, goal setting, treatment planning, aftercare planning and referral; individual and group counseling; and development and delivery of psycho-educational sessions.

Must be able to work in emotionally charged environment at time characterized by high stress.
Experience and knowledge regarding addiction medicine, including Opiate Replacement Therapy
Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities.
Demonstrated ability in community and conflict management.
Experience in delivery of psychoeducational sessions and process groups required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision making skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
Consistent and regular attendance required.
Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
