- Model the way of demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
- Be responsible for communication, planning, organizing, implementation, and execution of business operations for the Gas Bar.
- Be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the entire Gas Bar Team Members in all areas of People, Financial, Market Growth, Sustainability, Operational Excellence & Safety.
- Adhere to established standards including safe food handling & sanitation, Gas Bar regulations, merchandising, health & safety, and loss prevention.
- Communicate and consult with the Associate Director of Support and Partnership about daily operations, budget plans, sales, targets and other tasks.
- Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practises to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal losses.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Be motivated to growing the business and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Lead the annual planning, goal setting, budgeting, and corporate talent management processes for the Gas Bar.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal & external customers and team members, while ensuring that the administrative requirements of the role are maintained on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure employee development and succession planning is a high priority.
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, monitoring and continuous improvement.

- You have knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of the local business environment would be an asset.
- Skills in the areas of: Planning and executing production as well as implementing continuous improvement / changes to procedures / processes.
- Computer skills are required – Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Available to work a variety of shifts including Monday-Sunday, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
