    Description
    Open position in all True Media office locations including Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB; Hybrid work schedule: in office/remote. The Paid Social Media Specialist is responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of social campaigns.

    Responsible for executing effective and innovative social media campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and any other emerging social platforms.

    The Paid Social Specialist is expected to bring a data-driven approach to campaign management, by consistently testing various targeting strategies and utilizing technology from strategic preferred marketing developers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    Monitor activation, pacing, and performance of campaign portfolio across all paid social platforms.
    Review status and performance of campaigns with Paid Social Manager on a regular basis.
    Create customized reports for clients across all campaigns and platforms.
    Provide reporting, social media expertise, and research for new business.
    Develop strategies and POVs for assigned accounts.
    Evaluate and execute the implementation of emerging technology platforms in conjunction with the Paid Social Manager.

    At least one year of experience, preferably within an agency environment, with day-to-day digital campaign management and/or social advertising experienceA self-starter that takes personal responsibility for education in relevant digital marketingExperience with social media marketing on the following platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTubeFamiliarity and experience with implementing tracking pixelsExperience with both direct-response and brand marketingAbility to problem solve and think creatively to overcome obstaclesAbility to work within a team environment while handling multiple projects with deadlinesEducationCollege Certificate with a concentration in advertising, marketing or communications preferred; two to fours years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
