About the roleReporting to the Director of Development, the Development manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of our residential development projects.
The Development manager is great at cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders including local engineers, lawyers, city officials, inventors, and community members.

What you'll be doingDefining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior leadership team and internal stakeholdersTracking and overseeing full project schedules to ensure milestones and timelines are being metEstimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goalsEnsuring proper financial management of the project, working alongside the Finance and Accounting Providing leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestonesAligning with all project team members to ensure that designs, budgets and schedules are well coordinated and communicatedManaging the day-to-day project activities and resources; Chairs the project team meetingsEnsuring that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standardsProviding status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating frequently to leadershipEnsuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective mitigation strategyDriving innovation and excellence in your projects through continuous improvement initiatives and staying up to date on industry tends and regulations.
What we're looking for5+ years of land development experienceProject management experience in land development and real estateExtensive understanding of project management principles, methods and techniquesDetailed Understanding of all aspects and disciplines within property development i.e.
