    Description

    Our Geotechnical team is growing and enhancing its services in Eastern Ontario. Our team brings extensive expertise in foundations engineering, catering to projects ranging from residential developments to large-scale infrastructure ventures for both public and private clients. In addition to our foundations specialists, we have seasoned pavement engineers dedicated to expert pavement design, assessment, and management. We conduct thorough testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt, ensuring quality and reliability. Committed to serving a diverse clientele, our geotechnical team plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of every project.

    As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be tasked with:

    • Managing and overseeing geotechnical investigations and analyses for engineering studies, focusing on deep and shallow foundations.
    • Crafting and reviewing geotechnical reports, specifications, and related deliverables for various projects spanning energy, institutional, transportation, industrial, commercial, communication, and residential sectors.
    • Designing field investigation and laboratory testing programs tailored to project requirements.
    • Performing slope stability analysis and geotechnical designs to adhere to regulatory standards set by Conservation Authorities and other government bodies.
    • Utilizing computer-aided design and analysis software for geotechnical assessments.
    • Conducting on-site visits and investigations to address challenging conditions and support field personnel.
    • Providing leadership and technical guidance to junior team members.
    • Contributing to proposal development and report writing, while reviewing submissions from junior engineers.
    • Collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
    • Cultivating strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles, including offering technical advisory support.
    • Participating actively in both internal and external project meetings.

    Your Profile:

    • Holds a university degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering.
    • Completion of advanced or specialized courses in geotechnical and foundation engineering, with a Master's degree considered advantageous.
    • Brings 7-10+ years of substantial experience in Geotechnical engineering.
    • Proficient in site investigations, deep and shallow foundation design, slope stability analysis, and on-site construction activity reviews.
    • Preferably holds current registration with MTO's RAQs for foundations and/or tunneling disciplines.
    • Registered with PEO (Professional Engineers Ontario).
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
    • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, initiative, and team management abilities.
    • Exhibits sensitivity and commitment to occupational health and safety practices.

    Salary Range: $107,465-$116,769
