Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role handles leading the digital marketing activities at MacEwen Petroleum Inc.
This position requires tight interaction with all areas of our business, including Retail, Residential and Commercial Fuels, Sales, and Head Office.
The digital marketing coordinator will support and perfect our organization's digital marketing programs.Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Supporting general marketing initiatives set up by the Director.
- Creation of digital marketing material.
- Negotiating digital advertising agreements with retail vendors.
- Update and support the digital marketing Media Kit
- Identifying and engaging with vendors.
- Developing and sourcing content for digital platforms.
- Work with 3rd party digital solution and design companies to optimize our Google search, display, and social marketing campaigns.
- Researching and staying current with new digital market trends.
Requirements:
- Degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent.
- 2+ years' marketing experience.
- Active on social media. IG, Tik Tok, FB and LinkedIn.
- Working knowledge of the above social platforms and creating/ running campaigns
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- Highly organized.
- Project management experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Google, Google my Business analytics.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Must be motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
- Must have a working knowledge of CMS. WordPress.
- Must have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- French verbal and written communication skills are highly desirable.
