    Channel Manager, Auxiliary Equipment
    JOB SUMMARY
    Due to significant demand, our client is looking for a high-performing Sales professional to augment their existing equipment Sales team. The role reports to the Vice President – Sales & Marketing.

    JOB PURPOSE
    The Channel Manager, Auxiliary Equipment is responsible for increasing channel partner sales of Axillary Equipment across North America. They will work closely with the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Canadian Regional Sales Manager, and other New Equipment Sales team members providing product education and technical support throughout the quoting and sales process. The Channel Manager, Auxiliary Equipment will also identify strategic end-user accounts in pursuit of opportunities to provide boiler axillary equipment solutions.

    Responsibilities:
    • Drive boiler auxiliary equipment sales by guiding, training, and educating channel partners across North America
    • Understand channel partners' local business needs and requirements as well as support in the generation of equipment quotes
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition associated with auxiliary equipment solutions through needs assessment, presentations, and proposals
    • Educate channel partners' team members such that they are able to appropriately promote equipment to their customers and Engineering Consultants
    • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets while expanding our customer base
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, channel member and select end user customer relationships
    • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Sales & Marketing

      REQUIREMENTS
    • Proven success in industrial product or service channel management
    • Possesses the technical and commercial knowledge to effectively communicate with our clients' technical and commercial teams
    • 5+ years senior sales experience selling mechanical equipment or services to the Food & Beverage, Institutional (e.g. Healthcare, Universities), or Manufacturing segments, ideally for applications relating to the boiler room.
    • Experience working with industrial channels and customers across North America
    • Proven ability to articulate distinct technical aspects of products and services; ability to translate these into customer value propositions
    • Ability to apply a solution-based, strategic selling, approach to Engineering Consultants
    • Ability to develop and communicate value propositions associated with equipment solutions for challenging customer applications
    • Ability to develop relationships, communicate effectively with key decision makers, including Channel Partners, Engineering Consultants, Mechanical Contractors, and End Users.
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close; demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline as well as experience assisting channel partners in doing the same
    • Experience providing product or service solutions for boiler room applications is an asset.
    • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Post-secondary College or University degree; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
