ever-changing needs by designing and delivering practical education that meets
or exceeds the national benchmarks established by the Canadian Home Builders

In British Columbia, PHBI is branded
as BC Builder Training, while in Ontario we are recognized as Training Ontario.
This position resides with the
Professional Home Builders Institute (PHBI) and works alongside The Alberta New
Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada)
Corporation (NHWICC).
Accountable for:
This position is responsible for organizing and
creating informative and engaging content to attract, convert and retain
customers and to help build and support our brands, products and services.
You'll be part of a collaborative team that thrives on getting things done.
You're a generalist, bringing a broad marketing and communications experience
and know-how to deliver the right content, at the right time, to the right audience.
Plan, develop, implement, manage and coordinate various marketing efforts.
You'll bring a hands-on experience working with various
web, email, social and design programs and platforms. You have proven
time-management skills that allow you to deliver results under tight deadlines
and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:
The primary
responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator are:
Support and collaborate with internal and
external stakeholders to scope, plan, and implement marketing strategies
and tactics to support business goals, reporting on progress and results.
Maintain inventory of sales and promotional
materials, ensuring all are current and accurate. Includes coordinating
the creation and execution of new materials when necessary. Examples
include:
promotional swag, gifts, brochures, event banners, etc.
Coordinate events, such as sponsorships and in
person events, including planning, asset development, execution, and
reporting.
Social media support as needed, including
daily management, creative content development and reporting.
Maintain positive business relationships with
industry associations, including membership management.
Support brand, web and writing styles, email
and social media guidelines and best practices.
Website updates and minor development as
needed (WordPress and Salesforce).
Perform other related duties as
needed/assigned.
Skills and
Experience:
~3+ years of related experience
~ Experienced with concept ideation and developing
content for multiple audiences and platforms, including storytelling,
blogging, and technical writing
~ A solid understanding of graphic and print
design principles.
~ Soft skills:
time management, communication
(written / visual / oral), interpersonal skills, collaborative approach
~ Solid project management understanding
~ Strong understanding of content, email, and
social media marketing
~ Strong editing skills, including content,
spelling, grammar and working knowledge of CP style
~ Good understanding information architecture,
user experience, and web best practices.
Technical
skills
Must have experience using Office 365 (Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite
or equivalent software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Considered
