Business Development Associate - Toronto, Canada - Stockhouse Publishing
Description
This is a great opportunity for a driven hunter salesperson who has experience in generating leads - you will be part of a successful North American media organization that is dedicated to growing its client base.
Responsibilities:
- Aim to understand the needs and goals of each prospect and facilitate a salesdriven call with the senior team.
- Effectively partner with the sales team to develop & test new outreach messaging.
- Represent the partner fund on sales calls, gather information, create investment summaries for higher management.
- Expect some travel to fulfil the role; participate in conferences and tradeshows as a company's representative.
- Assist with conference planning.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in sales and generating leads
- Capital Markets experience or banking background
- Able to work comfortably and multitask in a fastpaced team environment
- Independent, energetic, results driven, highly motivated with a positive attitude
- CSC or IFIC would be an asset
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CMS systems preferred
